Dammit… He told us not to blink.
this is actually disgusting.
Saw “THIS”?! They immediately dehumanized this woman and then further dehumanized her by stating they would rape her. Every one of these males. Rape was the first thing that came to mind. This is beyond disgusting.
Go on. Tell me rape culture isn’t real. Tell me how “Everyone knows rape is wrong.”

I literally don’t usually get all swoony around people I admire, like Skottie Young was signing here last weekend during FCBD and I talked to him a bit and was fine, but I just went into the cafe that is in the Silver Snail where I work, and who should I see but @Albinwonderland and her boyfriend Captain. I was making myself a coffee and was all like “Okay, I’m going to have a fan-girl moment here, I follow your blog!” And then we talked about TCAF and the Snail. And then I ran away, because I felt like a total dork. Sorry for nerding out on you Ange!
As many of my female peers are doing at the moment, I’m reading a book by Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg called Lean In. The first chapter asks: What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
My answer? I’d write this blog.
Hello. My name is Meagan Marie, and I’m a person. I’ve…
The lovely denizens of the Silver Snail, out for Free Comic Book Day!
Top: Nicole, Cheyanne
Middle: Cameron
Bottom: Kalman, AlexJust wanted to take advantage of the beautiful day in order to practice my photography more. If I had to pick one part of my skill set that’s lacking, it’s that.
Such a hectic but fun day. Also, I wish I could dress up as a superhero everyday <3
Here’s a comic I made on BitStrips for my Gender Through Comic Books course. I’ve named it Adventures at the Comic Shop even though it doesn’t take place at my work because it’s still related to work, and also because I’ve been thinking of making little comics about some of the things that happen to me there for a while, so consider this the first in a series. Perhaps eventually I’ll even draw them myself, but for now I don’t mind using BitStrips to tell my tales. If the picture is too small to read just Click Here to view the page.
